The Security and Exchange Commission converted a two-year-old plaza deck into a playground for its employee childcare center. After demolishing a fountain, planters and other fixtures, the construction company turned to Brisk Waterproofing, the original deck waterproofer, to provide advice and modifications to waterproofing and the decking as well as repairs and water testing.

Adhering to an aggressive schedule, the SEC received a quality waterproofing job and a functional playground. Products used included hot applied rubberized asphalt, liquid membrane, Bituthene membrane and silicone caulk, among other specialties.
