The well-known architect, I. M. Pei, designed the Dreyfus Chemistry Building on the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After years of exposure to the elements, the six-story building recently underwent restoration. Brisk Waterproofing tackled the project.

The scope of work involved exterior cleaning, concrete patching and sealant replacement. Epoxy was injected in approximately 4,500 lineal feet of concrete cracks. To complete the project, the building's exterior was coated with a clear water repellant to help protect it against future moisture exposure. Among the products used were Jahn's patching materials, Dow 790 Sealant and Chemcrete's BSM-40 Sealer.
