Terrus Real Estate Group, the property management group for a financial center building in Des Moines, called in Western Waterproofing on a complex project that entailed the bank's main entrance and garage entrance/exits. Both areas had to remain open throughout the project.

The waterproofing system under sidewalks on the north and west sides of the building failed, causing water infiltration problems in the underground occupied and parking spaces. Western removed the existing brick pavers, three-inch concrete topping and old waterproofing system. Then a new hot applied waterproofing system was installed in two phases. The system was protected with new brick pavers and a cast in place concrete topping.
