The construction of St. Andrew's Cathedral began in 1867 and was completed in the 1950s. It was constructed of native coral and English stone. Western Waterproofing was involved with the restoration and cleaning of the building.
The concrete louvers on the Bell Tower were spalling. When the bells were rung, small pieces of delaminated concrete fell to the interior and exterior of the tower. Worried about the safety of the parishioners and possible damage to the bells, Western repaired the deteriorated concrete. A special concrete mix matched the existing stone color as closely as possible. Stainless steel anchors were used to insure repair stability.
